The ingredients needed to make Tofu Bagels:
  1. Prepare 200 g Silky Tofu
  2. Get 200 g Bread flour
  3. Make ready 1 Tbsp Sugar
  4. Take 1/2 tsp Salt
  5. Take 1 scant tsp instant yeast (a little less than 1 tsp)
  6. Get 2 cups Warm water for boiling
  7. Prepare 1 Tbsp Honey
Steps to make Tofu Bagels:
  1. Wrap a tofu in paper towels and place tofu on the plate. Microwave about 20 seconds. (Please DO NOT cook too long!) Remove damp paper towels.
  2. Mix tofu, flour, sugar, salt and yeast in a bowl. Knead for about 10 minutes. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  3. Cut the dough into 4 equal sized pieces. Roll each piece into a rope. Put the two ends together and shape into a doughnut. Let rest for 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat oven to 375°F/190°C. Put a pot over the heat and add the honey into the boiled water.
  5. Boil bagel for 30 seconds. Turn them over and boil another 30 seconds.
  6. Bake for 15 minutes.
  7. Smells good!!!
