Steps to make Methi Mirchi Aachar:
  1. First of all soak fenugreek seeds in water for at least 4 to 5 hours.
  2. After 4 - 5 hours strain all water, wash with fresh water, again strain it in strainer. Wash green chillies and cut all in 1/2 inch in round..
  3. Now turn on gas on low flame, put a kadai, add oil, when oil heat, add mustard seeds and hing.
  4. Add green chillies, whole dhaniya, saunf saute for 1 minute. Now add soaked fenugreek in it.
  5. Cover the lid and cook for 2 minutes on a low flame. Then open it, check fenugreek seeds is cooked properly, then add haldi, salt, kashmiri red chilli powder, mix well.
  6. Turn off gas, add lemon juice for tangy taste, as well, it works as a natural preservative.
  7. Ready to eat Methi Mirchi Aachar, very tasty, spicy, tangy in taste. You can enjoy with roti, paratha, puri, rice as per your taste.
  8. Tip – Due to more oil, lemon juice added, and no water in it, this can be store at least 1 week without fridge.. But…. but.. I am sure it will consume by you in couple of days..
