- Cut the Chinese chives into 5 cm lengths. Shred the Japanese leek. Cut the shiitake mushrooms, and bamboo shoots into 5 mm cubes.
- Heat the sesame oil, cook the ground pork through, and season with salt and pepper.
- Add all the vegetables to the meat, flavour with the soy sauce and sake, then stir-fry.
- Thicken the sauce with the katakuriko dissolved in water, and the filling is ready. Let it cool for a little while.
- Wrap with spring roll wrappers (please refer to the instructions for wrapping the spring rolls on the package).
- Deep-fry them. Since the filling is already cooked through, they are ready when the wrappers turn golden brown.
